Description
This is Epifanes’ fast-drying, semi-gloss wood finish, based on modified urethane/alkyd resins, designed for quick and easy protection. It delivers a durable, UV-protecting film while requiring less application time than traditional high-gloss varnishes.
Key Features:
- Quick & Easy Application: The fast-drying formula allows for recoating in 5-6 hours at 20 °C. Most significantly, it can be reapplied without sanding between coats if the subsequent coat is applied within 72 hours.
- Teak & Oily Wood Adhesion: Provides an enhancing film that bonds extremely well to teak and other oily woods, preventing discoloration and emphasizing the wood’s natural grain.
- Protection: Contains an integrated UV filter to protect wood from sunlight damage, offering excellent water resistance and longevity.
- Versatile Use: Ideal for use as a full UV-resistant system on all wooden parts, interior and exterior, above the waterline. It also serves as a quick-drying grain-filling base coat prior to finishing with a high-gloss product like Epifanes Clear Varnish.
- Construction: One-component, oxidative drying varnish based on Urethane/Alkyd resin
