Description

Epifanes Classic Teak Stain is a quick-drying, low-solids, impregnating woodstain formulated to provide a rich, golden teak tone to bare marine woods. It functions by providing in-depth tinting power on bare wood, making it ideally suited for enhancing the color of faded wood patches prior to finishing.

Key Features:

  • Quick-Drying & Impregnating: The stain is fast-drying, with a recoat time of only 2 hours, and is designed to impregnate bare wood, delivering a warm, uniform color.
  • Toning Power: Users can control the intensity of the golden teak color by applying a maximum of 3 coats on bare wood.
  • Varnish Compatibility: After staining, the wood is recoatable with all Epifanes one-component and two-component varnishes for long-term protection.
  • Colour Adjuster: It can be mixed with Epifanes one- and two-component clear varnishes (up to a 10% maximum) to create a lightly tinted finish, which is excellent for camouflaging color differences in existing clear coating systems.
  • Field of Use: Recommended for both interior and exterior bare solid wood and plywood above the waterline, including teak, mahogany, meranti, and iroco
