Description
Epifanes Woodfinish Matte is a fast-drying, scratch-resistant, one-component varnish based on urethane alkyd resins. It delivers a beautiful matte finish and is highly protective, offering great resistance against alcohol and other common household chemicals.
Key Features:
- Matte Finish & Protection: Gives a beautiful matte finish and is scratch-resistant. It protects against alcohol and other household chemicals.
- UV Filter: Includes a UV filter and can be used in both an interior and an exterior system above the waterline.
- Intended Use: This product functions as the matte final coat in new or existing varnish systems. It can be applied to basically every other varnish.
- Bare Wood Application: For the best performance on bare wood, Epifanes strongly recommends that users first apply multiple build-up coats of a high-gloss varnish with a UV filter to protect the wood from the inside of the grain
- Application Method: Best results are achieved with a long-haired soft brush or by air spray; application by roller is not advised due to the required wet film thickness
