Description
This product is a premium, one-component yacht varnish alternative engineered for maximum durability, especially on challenging oily woods. It utilizes a modified oil-based formula to achieve an extremely high-gloss finish with high build capacity and unique flow characteristics.
Key Features:
- Oily Wood Adhesion: It is particularly well-suited for tropical woods with a high oil content, such as teak and iroco, providing excellent bonding where traditional varnishes may struggle.
- Prevent Dark Spots: Due to special inert regulating components, this oil-based finish has breathing characteristics, which prevent the formation of dark spots underneath the varnish film.
- Protection: It includes an extra UV filter to protect the wood from discoloration and maintains flexibility to prevent cracking on “working” wood.
- Simplified Application: Allows for overcoating without sanding if the subsequent coat is applied within 72 hours at 65°F. However, lightly scratching the surface with a fine Scotch Brite is advised for the smoothest finish.
